Biography

Completely self taught as a photographer he specializes in documentary and people photography. An avid traveller, working and playing with natural light and subjects of social and cultural interest is his forte.

He is currently working on a project on 'Art In Public Spaces' and on a project on the 'Markets of Bangalore'.

He is a moderator of Bangalore Weekend Shoots , arguably Indias most active FLICKR group. He is a contributer to Visage, one of Indias leading stock photography agencies.Vinayak has been involved closely with several TV shows in India. He has also been an active feature writer for The Economic Times in Calcutta and has contributed articles to The Times of India, The Statesman and The Telegraph.

Vinayak works professionally as a photographer and has done projects for various organizations including Greenpeace.
